Maybe I'm overestimating what you can do with square blocks and this game, and I do respect the effort, but much of that Bioshock stuff didn't impress me very much, even the times I did recognize what it was supposed to be. I don't know the capabilities of Minecraft (although my roommate started playing 2 days ago and is now addicted), but I reckon you could do parts of Portal in there.

Minecraft was unable to start because it failed to find an accelerated OpenGL mode.
This can usually be fixed by updating the video card drivers.

Yeah problem persisted even after updating.

Last night I dreamed I was in Iceland, except the whole area was a bunch of gray blocks. I had to put some TNT in a certain spot to blow a hole in the ground and in a little cave to make an amphitheater.

I've never played Minecraft before.

My current base:

The foreground is my blast range for TNT
The large tower is what I call The Death Star, because its so big that it eclipses the sun and zombies spawn underneath it without a ton of torches everywhere.  On top is a large farm, trees, grassland, my house, and another tower.
Underneath the death star is my glass dome thing which has a few houses in it.
Off to the right is my great wall of china that goes on forever

That one and most other massive, complicated structures were made with external editors.

It would take ages to manually make something like that in-game.

Holy shit, how does anyone know enough about the Enterprise to be able to build it out of 1mx1m blocks?
