There's a few glitches, I've played 1,790 years of CoD4 non stop.

to expand...why should I or anyone else give a shit about a UI update that adds no utility?Flaming_Maniac wrote:

Nobody cared about your first post, why should anyone give a shit about a slightly expanded comment that adds no more of an opinion?Flaming_Maniac wrote:

Same. I'm back to the original one until they force the shitty one on me.unnamednewbie13 wrote:
I hope you can at least use the classic interface with some of the new features.DefCon-17 wrote:
As someone else said, it looks way too tailored towards attracting retar-....casual gamers.
I do like the "Which friends have this game" feature though.
Because someone felt like I was trolling.Finray wrote:

It's couldn't care less, not could. Could care less means you do care about it getting with the timesunnamednewbie13 wrote:
Too flashy. To be perfectly honest, I prefer a clean, spartan interface for my software, and steam does just that. I could care less about them getting with the times. Looks great, Steam was really needing this. The old green/bile colour was getting to me.
Those are games that support the Steam cloud; i.e. store all your information/settings/saves on their servers as opposed to your own computer.bennisboy wrote:

you've always been able to change the theme colours of the old steambennisboy wrote:

Did you just learn that? Never mind, it's irrelevant. Since it's impossible to care less than zero, couldn't care less implies that you care nothing for the matter at hand. If I couldn't care less about them getting with the times, I'd be playing Half-Life 1 on Windows 95.bennisboy wrote:

Yes sure it is, face it, you were wrong. Oh and your "correction" makes no difference to the meaning of my sntence. My correction completely changes the meaning of your sentence to what you actually meant, but good job trying to make out that you didn't.unnamednewbie13 wrote:

Could care less can be a conundrum if a writer's tone isn't clear. It could mean that you care a lot, only somewhat or just a little, but that you could care less. Since I think I've made it perfectly clear what I think about giant, garish UI's, I think one could accurately detect my low opinion of GFWL-ish bubble-text updates.
But since you've brought up an obscure grammatical issue, allow me to pull our mutual grammar nazism back to the basic level of punctuation. You'll find the correction above in red.
[edit]Also, 'couldn't care less' is currently an evolving idiom. 'Could care less' is an official American colloquialism. I choose to use either, depending on how emphatic I want to sound.[/edit]
