It depends on how much O cares about getting the peace prize. If he doesn't give a shit he can continue doing what he wants. If he does, well, then he's not really going to escalate the Afghan war by sending in tens of thousands of more troops is he. All of that is bigger than some silly prize.
So you think Obama is going to go off and buy a Lambo with his money? That would look good. The world places you on a pedestal for your actions (or in this case proposed actions) and you blow the prize on useless things.
