Just built a pc for my little sister, both me and Fin donated spare parts:
specs:
CPU - Intel Core 2 Due E5200
Motherboard - Gigabyte G31M-S2L
Memory - 2GB Geil DDR2 800Mhz (Upping to 4GB of something. Need to buy it because this motherboard only has 2 slots, and the ram I have is 4x1GB.)
HSF - Freezer7Pro
HDD - 80GB Maxtor IDE (Will be trying to find something bigger and SATA at some point)
GPU - nVidia 8800GTX (got it for £30, a veritable steal if you ask me)
PSU - Running on a 250w no-namer just now, just to make sure it works and to get it set up. Will be buying a 450W Powercool modular soon.
Case - Shitty old generic case. Will be buying a nice pink one for her birthday.
Fin donated the cpu, mobo and heatsink. I donated the ram and Hard drive and case. Bought the GPU and will be buying the PSU.
Can't wait to give this to her, she's been wanting one for ages. Not many 12 year old girls that want to go around shooting zombies L4D style
Oh, and of course. Obligatory VERY PINK Aero theme

AX750 started making audible and very annoying coil whine. Going to RMA it straight to Corsair, I doubt the retailer accepts coil whine is a problem.
I sure hope they still do advance RMA (send me replacement before I ship this one to Corsair)....
