I don't care for the whole macbook is shit debate. Bertster works for Apple and has stated on numerous occasions he doesn't think much of there products from a hardware perspective. I don't think this is applicable to Apple software, but seeing as i've never used a mac i can't comment.

I don't want to get into an argument on the internet especially about macs but every mac i've ever seen has been way overpriced for what you actually get.

m3th don't be such a dumbie. there are thousands of people in the uk tech industry. bertster's judgement is an OPINION. one guy with his own experiences with 'x' hardware doesn't hold the definitive yes/no on that product. my sony vaio and this macbook here had identical specs, more or less except for hard-drive capacity, and this macbook with osx runs lightning-fast compared to the vaio with xp/vista/7. that's my experience with the two platforms and that's me finding a product that best suits my needs as a user. just because some guy that goes through troubleshooting and hardware-replacement with tech dumbies doesn't find it desirable or useful for him, it doesn't condemn the entire manufacturing line to the shit bin.
i could find just as many people that work for windows or the pc-industry and are generally dissatisfied with or have grumbles about their platform/technology. so what? how many IT geeks do you know that would rather run a linux distro on your office computers than bloated windows? they're opinions. i don't see everyone giving up and abandoning windows because a few programmers/tech-experts have shit to say about it.
