Killing time while waiting for the next M&B. Another quick battle, but this time I chose the 'foot archer.' If he couldn't ride horses, I'd be dead rather than 'victorious.' 25 Swadians vs 40 Khergits. Ran out of arrows, but the Khergits ran out of horses. Still a Pyrrhic victory, considering I lost my entire force, but I accounted for thirty of the kills. Had to pull out the scimitar in rather short order, but I got another chance to expend all my arrows with the protection of what little of my guys were still alive, then with the theft of a riderless courser.
Also:
Gotta love the second-to-last one. Glitch with the screenshot. I hope the AI is improved in the next one, as even with good AI, they tend to cluster up and try chasing your horse in circles on foot while getting slowly picked off.
More AI fail, but at the Jesus Spot on one of the quick battle maps. As long as they can't fire back at you, you're free to shoot until you run out of arrows. One of the Vaegir knights (chainmail guy on the right) took a Boromir amount before dying.
Spears and long weapons also work from this little bit of broken down wall, but you can get hit back if you get too close.

I'm proud of my headshots, in singleplayer/skirmish, but I can't seem to duplicate them with how the game handles lag online. Also, at the time the above screenshot was taken, there was still a guy to the left off the screen. I got chopped off the wall, then killed as I was standing back up.

He´s slowly turning into the mighty monsterzapping mage I was going for, but I can´t shake the feeling he looks more like the saturday top-act at the local blue oyster bar...

This game brings back the feeling of being a superhero that BF2 used to give you. You can go on long killing streaks spanning many flags and vehicles. I miss the golden days of BF2. This game is of course worse than BF2 in most ways. But it feels more fun to play than BC2 for example.

It isn't as bad as all that. It's just a step down from the first game, but is actually playable online.Finray wrote:

Had a little fun with MLG kiddies. TBH I walked into the playlist thinking I was going to get my ass handed to me. But, I was disappointed. The above video is the first game playing on the playlist. I don't think this game is as challenging since Halo 1 was over XBC. I'll still play it though because its a fun game with friends.
