I'm sick of all this bullshit. I cannot accept the fact that my government, the one I voted for, will not let him in for voicing his own damn opinion. I may not like what Galloway has to say (I don't like to cut and run tbh. I also don't like the fact that he is a far left nut job who for some reason still wanted the Soviet Union around. His Anti-US tirades also piss me off alot) but every single person is entitled to their own opinions and beliefs. It simply cannot be taken away from them; its a fundamental base for our great civilization. NOBODY should ever be blocked from entering a Country over a matter of personal preference, whether it be Galloway or Wilders.

As Turq points out: What the fuck ever happened to free speech? What the fuck ever happened to freedom? So much for section 2B, Constitution Act 1982.

I'm gonna say what I said about the other guy, which was something along the lines of "good for the government" - I mean if you publicly hold some extreme views don't expect to get into any country you want easily... these people set themselves up for this shit

If you're ok with your government blocking people over their opinions, where do you draw the line?

I'm sure you could have a much more ordered society by labeling all extreme views as hate speech and then prosecuting it.  Some countries have done that.

But at some point, you have to ask...  Who decides what is hate speech and what isn't?

Should talk to Germany, their free speech laws are awesome.

Holocaust denial is banned in Ger/Aus

If Canada considers Hamas a terrorist organisation, and this person is actively assisting Hamas, well, then I don't see an issue with it. The issue is with the hypocrisy of letting anyone else offering assistance to Hamas in as long as the Jews aren't moaning.

Broadcasters have the right to censor whatever they want to, as long as they are private.

The government shouldn't have the right to censor people's opinions.

There's a very important difference between those two things.

Personally, I think the FCC is unconstitutional, but that's beside the point.
