So about a month ago, I was shopping at Sam's Club, and I passed the candy isle... And I saw Pixie Stix, 50 of them, for 11 dollars... A thought hit me, "Damn, I could sell the shit out of these"
Boy was I right, a day and a half later I had 50 bucks, or $39 profit...
I decided to widen the scale of the operation, I bought another $22 worth of pixie sticks, and got two of my friends in on it... (Ones a senior with some junior classes, which means more kids to sell to) now I had $100, or $78 profit, about 3 days later...
After we sold all those, I decided to expand my product line...
So I went to Sam's club, and spend $80 on candy and gum (pic below, lighter used for size reference)
Prices:
Ring Pops: 50c each
Sour Ropes: $1
Pixie Stix: $1
Gum: $1
Nerds Rope: $1
That was like last Thursday, and we just moved most of the stuff into my locker (we were bringing in like 15 items each a day, and running out)
Today, we began making a profit, so far we've sold $83 of our new items (plus unaccounted change) and still have a good amount left
If you were interested, we sell in our classes, with little effort... The most effort we go through is probably lunch, if we have a few minutes, we go up to a group of people, with candy in hand, and ask one person, "Hey, you want to buy a nerds rope for a buck?" and then other people say, "A buck?? Here *hands dollar* let me get some sour ropes"
Basically the same thing in classes...
I thought I'd share my accomplishment with you guise...
