Wasn't expecting much from the single player. Pleasantly surprised.

Dead Space was my pick. I bought it not really expecting too much except to blow the limbs off of some Necromorph fucks but instead got a really, really fun game with a great story and great gameplay.

Runner up would be SW: TFU.
