Mine is FWD, and it sucks. I miss RWD.

Note: If you have a 4x4 truck/SUV, you do not have AWD.

RWD sucks up north because of the snow.  Need all the weight you can get on the wheels, and the engine is the best weight.

My truck is RWD... It's fine in the snow, I just blow snow into the bed on top of 400 pounds of sand. If the snow is bad I just toss her into 4WD

Yes, but RWD is better in the other 300+ days of the year.

Anyway, I have RWD (95 Chevy Caprice) and I love it.

i guess its either FWD or 4WD....maybe AWD, but definitely not RWD.
for someone that used to work in a shop, you would think i would check these things.

i dont really care for it too much either way.

The weight is distributed much better which gives the driver better handling in dry conditions.

AWD, which makes my car actually driveable in the 2+ ft. of snow we have right now. It's a beast in winter conditions.

AWD right now.  Still running the range rover, cant get rid of it.  Knowone is buying :\  Was thinking of picking up a mini (which would change my vote to FWD), feel like a bit of a twat in an SUV .

AWD - much better handling and grip during acceleration, especially in snow which have loads of during winter.
once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot  xxx galore'. While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.

FWD, that's why when marine FWD is better in the snow, I responded with the fact that RWD is better in the other 300 days of the year...

AWD means constant all wheel drive trucks and SUVs have selective for wheel drive, you can choose between 2 and 4 wheel drive so its 4x4 or 4WD no AWD I think?
