The game is awesome but it doesn't really feel like a fallout game sometimes.

Well, after thinking about it for awhile I've decided to give this a game a try but there was one thing that I'm concerned about. The combat. From videos I've seen it looks really slow. Can any of you guys tell me a little about it from your own experience playing the game?
And something completely unrelated to Fallout. I'm unable to to log into my account on Trackr. I assumed you to use your current password on BF2s but that didn't work. How do I log in?

I almost never use vats, it's too god damn inaccurate at long range, better off aiming for yourself.
In extreme close combat with, say, a shotgun, the VATS is quite nice

Been taking my time with the game. Taking in the atmosphere, searching around, finding bobbleheads (2 so far), etc.
Also didn't know you weren't supposed to go in the armory.
Yeah, I learned my lesson from Oblivion and am taking my time with the game too. I have only complteted one main quest after the vault (following in his footsteps) and that was on accident while doing another sidequest. Once you know what you're doing, the game is fantstic.Poseidon wrote:
