I'm getting a 360, what games should I get?

Tommorow I get to go out and purchase a 360
In b4 sam

Now I have enough money to spend on about three games,
btw Xbox Live costs money, So I figured it would count as a "game'
here are some good kits I thought would work:

I'd go Number 2 if you're a fan of FPS and won't get bored quickly from running and gunning.

I'd go Number 3 if you want to have fun in something similar to Battlefield 2, while having a game with a possibly good storyline and free-style play.

Which console are you getting, out of interest? Premium 20 gig? Elite 120 gig?

I actually LOVE racing games
The first Forza was pro, so I think I might rent it, and if I like it enough, maybe buy it.

Hmm. Not sure if i'd get any of those 3 to be honest.

GTA IV is good fun for a while, but when you finish the story mode there's just not a lot to do. And yeah, it's online is pretty crappy.
I've never liked Halo, and I thought 3 was just as awful as the rest whenever i've played it at a friends house.
I wasn't very impressed with the BF:BC Demo. I thought it was quite fun to start with but it's just a hollowed out shell of a BF game to be honest.

Hmm. I'm not sure which games are my faves on my 360. I only ever really play it if I can't use my computer for whatever reason. PC TF2 > 360 games.

However, yes, i'd definitely say GTA IV was worth the money, and if you're into Halo at all then I guess 3 is a good option. BC is pretty good as well, unless you've played BF2 in which case you'll see just how poor it is.

Other games on the 360 i think you should consider (assuming you havent played PC ports): Mass Effect, Gears of War, Forza 2 (I think when the races get above 2/3 laps each then its incredibly tedious but each to his own. I'm currently using the 'Hire Driver' option to finish all the races I never got around to doing myself).

Erm what else. Dunno. Download heaps of demos thats a good way of deciding what to get.

I'd say #3. GTA 4 and BF:BC are awesome games, I think I'll go and buy BF:BC soon. I reckon you'll get more for your money with #3. GTA 4 is still quite a lengthy game and the online is pretty fun, don't forget that the 360 will get proper extra content and shit through live in 2009.
