Good to know that others have the same problem. I'd like to play EF more often, but its kind of difficult to find a decent server. If I find a decent server, I pray that there are no good pilots around, or I'll get bombed out every 2 steps. Actually, EF wasn't worth it's money. But I have the same problem wiht SF. Hard to get a server with a decent ping. Seems like SF isn't much played either. At least, SF was worth buying.

Nice idea. Some stabbing would do me good right now. Same log-in problem, Vanilla and SF. I just hope this problem gets solved quickly. I just want to shoot people.
Euroforces is basically like vanilla BF2. A lot of tanks, 2 of three maps feature jets and helicopters. Nothing too thrilling, but nice to have three maps with the same old buildings rearranged. But worst of all is the stupid accent of the European Troops. Only the "Great Wall" is an interesting map, no planes, less tanks.PvtchieF73 wrote:
yep nice mod the SF bt that game always lags the shit out of me, with some exception here and there,
what about euroforces...? is that the same as the vanilla one or also just like the SF mod??
If SF wouldn't lag so much and I could find a free slot on a server with acceptable ping (same in english?), I'd probably playing more often. Nothing better than honest Infantry one on one.
... when you start considering that sitting up in the church tower next to your appartement would be an ideal place for sniping.
...when you start walking around corners cautiously because you can never be sure where those bastards are waiting for you
...when you are about to flatten yourself to the floor when some stupid kiddies behind you throw fireworks and you start thinking "Grenade!" immediately and wonder wtf your G3 is.

I bought EF yesterday, so I should be one of those 500 who bought the accidental early issue . But I'm not to overwhelmed by the new maps. Except "Great Wall" it's too much armour. I prefer Infantry battles. And the accent of the Europeans is just too bad.
Thanks again. After creating an EA-Account I could create an Gamespy-Account and now I'm happy
Thanks. Then I'll try to create an EA-Account and see what happens. Theoretically, such things should work idiot-proof.
Hi everyone, I just purchased Euroforces and was trying to download it via EA-Downloader. ( I haven't installed the downloader yet).
On the downloading site I was told to enter my Gamespy-Nick. But when I installed Battlefield (some time ago, last year), I didn't install Gamespy. I didn't register my game, too. So I couldn't enter an EA-Account name, as I found out.
So I was wondering what will going to happen when I create a new EA-Account. Does it affect my Account I use for playing Battlefield? Because I don't want to downlaod Euroforces just to find out, that it isn't registered for my existing BF2 Account.
BTW: I also tried entering my PID.
I hope this not too stupid a question. If it should be, I apologize. So I hope, you guys out there understand that downloader better than me and can tell me what stupid noob failures I made.
