Bizzare Website Issue

OK, Can't get to EA's 2142 website at all. I get a Battlefield EA.Com - Unknown Error text message and no website. In IE, Mozilla, Firefox or Opera. Its Strange. I was able to get there once, and not again. Cleared the cache, Restarted , Turned off ad blocking..

Any ideas? The EA Boards are useless..

hmm its fine for me.............but i couldnt access the site a few days ago - maybe it was jsut down at the time you were trying to access it? EA likes downtime

based solely on your post, you're typing "battlefieldea.com" when you should be typing "battlefield.ea.com"

Nope, Even of I click on a link in someones sig that points to the EA 2142 Stats page for that user I still get the error. "Battlefield EA - Unknown error". Its bizarre.

is it just the stats site or anything to do with ea? try all the variations - ea.com, battlfefield.ea.com etc

Maybe EA patched their website, and the same patch team that makes patches for the game made it - atleast they would be getting a taste of what the players of the game get

(I know there is no such thing as a 'website patch')

Apparently my Toon's name causes some kind of bug that makes the EA Site take a dump. I created a new toon using no <CAF> at the end and it works fine. I only did that because I couldn't get my damned vet program thing to work. GG EA, Now I dunno, Can I change my Toons name and keep the stats, or do I just start over. Luckily, only 300 or so points in..
