Click the link and find the vision(its not hard)

First few minutes are intro stuff, main presenter is a prominent Australian Comedian, the other 2 are just also rans, plus a message from the Lord mayor of Melbourne, who is only the the Lord Mayor cause of his accent.

But they eventually get into it.

I have put this in the serious section only cause of the cause it is supporting, discussion is encouraged.

why can't it be done? the first step in anything is making people aware of the problem and by addressing it in their concerts i can safely guarantee that people will be listening in and absorbing the information. music is one of the most influential factors in life so it is a good medium for their message, and if you think that is ridiculous then it doesn't matter but i'm sure most people know how much music can change their beliefs and how they feel.
i know its your opinion but seriously think it through especially when its about saving the world, because it's a shit hole at the moment and something does need to be done about it.

I saw a guy in a pub the other evening with a t-shirt saying 'Make Bono History' emblazoned on it!! I also saw a t-shirt with I [Heart] J-Lo on it, except the picture was of Johnny Logan, an Irish Eurovision Song Contest winner from the 70s....

What exactly do you find so offensive about charity? Musicians aren't going to save the world, but neither is a breast cancer awareness cash box in a grocery store, or a fireman in the middle of the road with a boot for burn victim donations. Additionally, the world's fine. Even if the atmosphere becomes toxic to all life, or everything's destroyed by disease, or the Jews conquer everything in all their wicked cunning , the world will still be just a rock contently orbiting our star.

To end poverty, those that dwell in it must figure out for themselves how to get out.  Remember this, "If you fail in highschool you will fail in life."  If you can grasp this concept then good for you.

True Story - In the middle of a U2 concert the music stopped and Bono asked everyone in the stadium to be quiet, he then began to slowly clap his hands, after a minute or so of this Bono said "every time I clap my hands a child in Africa dies" and a piercing voice shouted out from the audience "STOP FUCKING DOING IT THEN!!"

"We are the world.... we are the children" Bono was part of that too. Guess what that accomplished:

1. Jack
2. Shit

Need to solve the real problem: Humans in charge of other humans in turd world countries. People are going to starve to death in front of palaces.

That, and if you live in a desolate portion of the earth, either.... :

1. Move
2. Quit having secks. It will cut down on AIDS and overpopulation of your crappy area that can't support the people living on it.

the war on poverty, ironically it's possibly the only one that can't be won by throwing more money at it.
