I'd like to see a few maps (such as mashtuur or karkand) with all the armor taken out. I believe these maps would be fun if you just had vodniks/humvees. It would severely reduce the "baseraping", and encourage development of squad work because more infantry and less people waiting on armor = more teamplay. I'm not recommending taking out armor from the existing maps, I'm just saying add maps without the armor (like mashtuur day 2 or something).
I already know what it should be named: "Operation n00b Tube"
Good idea.
They almost managed to get it right on some SF maps (those with APCs only, and APCs are not to difficult to get rid off).
And the one who has put tanks on the 16players maps as a standard feature relly deserves a beating. No sense in playing squad vs. squad when one or two tanks a roaming around.

I'd like to see that along with tighter choke points. Mashtuur sucks IMO because there is too far of a view distance between flags and not enough buildings to hide in and around. I'd like to see more apartments like the hotel where you can shoot out of windows and climb on the roof, jumping from building to building. I'd like more narrow passageways like the "meatginder" on Karkand and the tight streets on Sharqi around the City Entrance, Alleyway and Surveilance Post. Imagine the Contruction Site building sitting right smack in the middle of the City Entrance. Imagine the Contruction Site building being where the Hotel is on Karkand Imagine the firefights between buildings, levels and rooftops. That's what I want. Put an arming distance on the noobtoob and it would be a blast.
i heard theres some maps allready like that . oh yeah i think its called dust and aztec try em out
Like Karkand isn't easy racking points already, especially with armor?Eckzack wrote:

Enjoy it...
Btw: easy racking points...
Also, if I want no tanks, I could play 16 player maps - but seriously - how often are you gonna find a 16 player size karkand with 32 player in it?
A true BF1942 Stalingrad style map...start from the city, die in the city...and perhaps adding armour on a 32+ map...perhaps 1 tank and 1 apc on each side..or maybe a warehouse that gives armour to those controlling that flag...
A stalingrad style map would be awesome.Aquastorm wrote:

Back in BF1942, poeple would join a server just to play Stalingrad and Berlin, good times, good times.
How many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie pop? Who gives a shit.
How much crack do you have to smoke to think of adding armor to a map like Karkand? Good question. Probably as much as the guy who decided to put the F2000 in vanilla Bf2.
Karkand hotel battles are soooo much fun... until the tank sticks his barrel in the alleyway and rapes. Then the fun just totally goes down the drain. GG tank whores....
