I heard about these burn out problems with plasma's in the really early days, mate of mine was an early adopter and I have never heard a guy bitch about a tv like that in my life! However like Tor77 said, its a case of years, by the time you get rid of it yes there will be some issues with it, if anything more justification on buying a new one . Lcds tend to be very expensive, but have the edge, dlp's are a great choice to, sony have an awsome one that I am thinkin about gettin for my self hehe

get the 23" samsung lcd. it has gamemode and it slighty shakes the screen (to the point u cant notice) so the image will never burn in. thats the one i use for my 360
