It's both... good server.... I've been kicked 11 times, Hooray! All but one for high ping.... The time i was kicked by spawn it read "fuck off".... good times.

dude you don't need any of the weapons, you just need the equipment
because, if my squad is doing good and just field upgrade all my weapons and i could be using field ugrade for so many rounds and i could be using 8 field weapons in 4rounds if my squad does good job.

IMO the only weapon unlocks you need are the engineer weapons. Other than that the default weapons are well balanced for combat.

Update on what I have so far and order:

Z-Sniper Tree
Voss Tree
Squad Leader Tree
H-AVR Tree
Lambert Tree

And now I am working my Way up the MG Support Wing (Left Branch). From there I plan to get a few player upgrades like nades and sprint, then move to the shotgun tree since I have been using it an it is pretty good for the support class! Now I see myself for sure unlocking the SAAW Last.

I have already:
* the full player ability
* first squadleader unlock
* the full recon class
* the full engineer without AA rocketlauncher
* assaultclass except the guns
* support the shotgun ladder but not the shotgun

What should I get now> I mostly play engineer and recon. then assault and support

I have all assaults, the first 2 sprint upgrades, and the sniper half of the recon tier. Next I plan on getting the other half of recon, the SLSB, then Support, Ganz tier, then Engy, Pilum teir, then Support, Clark Tier, then Engy, SAAW tier. then the last two things.
