If you have over 1000 hours of time playing BF2 when it has only been available for a total of 4368 hours..... You have no life. That is an average of 6 hours a day or 25% of your time. I have a hard enough time finding 6 hours in a week to play, and I think that is excessive. I've owned the game since it came out and I think I have a total of 80 hours played. The scary thing is that those that have over 1000 hours played are probably playing other games as well.

not to mention all the MA games that come out aimed at older gamers.
personally i think games are one of the few mediums where people from different backgrounds/ages/etc can play together and not feel all weird cuz your hanging out with a teenager or adult depending on your perspective.
stop the age wars, but know your position. 19 and under have virtually zero buying power, so your a fool if you think just cause your over 19 you shouldnt be playing games anymore. video games are the new poker for a lot of people, get together with the fellas and bust stuff up instead of sitting around smoking cigars and losing money hehe.

I'm 18 and I definatly do not plan to stop playing games when I turn 19. Hell, when you get to be in the above 18 age group yoj start being able to afford a decent computer, and you have a decent job to fund your gaming. If anything, if you're below a certain age and play games you need to get a life.

I'm 52, a 22 year USMC Veteran, I have survived actual no shit blood and guts combat, had three successful careers, and I'm still going. I have two degrees, a good job in the medical field, a wife, and a family. My sons are all grown, married and on their own. All are in law enforcement. I need a life?
I love to play this game, even though I suck at it. It's cheaper than golf and avgas, aircraft insurance, etc. I don't have the room or the desire to build hotrods anymore. Nothing on TV is worth watching.
I will continue to play this game until I get bored with it or something better comes along.
I'm sure that Gene does not realize he is the product of over indulgent parents, and at 15 believes he actually has some sort of rights and deserves respect. Respect is something that must be earned, and the only rights he is entitled to are those set by his parents.
May I suggest Gene, that when you graduate high school, you go visit a military recruiter and enlist. There, you will learn some self discipline and really learn how to function as a team.

id have to agree with the marines... im 20 in the military, F.E. Just wondering, What is a life? They seem to know what to do to NOT have one, but what IS one? Drinking till you pass out every nite or just getting into fights at the bar telling the drunks to get a life. I am a single dad with two kids, a 84 year old grandmother to take care of as well as a full time time as a computer tech. In my SPARE time I try to spend time with the kids and the rest of the family. I believe I have a life and still play alot of games when I can. I try to teach my kids the different types of games just as I try to teach them sports. I can't play sports like I used to but can play comp games and teach them the meaning of "Teamwork"

I am 22 and love games. I am about to begin law school, but will never give up gaming. It is a part of my life. If you little stupid shits think anyone needs to conform to your idea of a 'life' you are worthless piece of shit anyways.
The major demographic for video games has basically become the 18-35 year old male, we buy the most, we play the most. There are plenty of games made for us, and there are plenty of games you little shit 12 year olds probably don't even understand.
