No it is not a fake. It is Sgt_MaxPower who was promoted early in the month, but he was promoted to 2nd LT two weeks ago and EA doesn't pick a new one till January. Yes there is a SgtMajofCorp but the current one promoted in rank so as of right no, there isn't one until January.
