You had gained alot of respect from me after your perm-ban until you started posting all this bullshit about the glitch. It's bad enough you retards think its fun getting lots of imaginary points and then chastise others for caring about their stats, but why the hell do you feel the need to come here and tell everyone what you're doing. Guess what, NO ONE GIVES A FUCK. No shit you've been padding, whoopee there's a glitch, it wouldn't even need fixing if you assholes decided that fixing this required more attention then coding the thing right so you could move the titans without massive lag.

Or if all the jackasses just left it alone it wouldn't be a problem. In a few weeks no one will give a fuck anymore once they realize how pointless it is. If they continue to do it they undoubtably have no life and should be left to rot in their cell of the top ten.

It bloody sucks it has to come to this but i support spawnofthemist's actions why?
1) It will allow everyone to see how its done meaning more people will do it putting EA/DICE into a position to fix the friggin issue.
-By rights all they need to do it cap the points that can be gathered in this way.. something i dont imagine will be hard...
2)  It puts everyone on an even balance feild so those people who are in love with there E-Penis stats can keep on top of the game so to speak.
3) Its the only way EA/DICE will be prompted to get off there ass.

Someone should spam a link to this thread on the EA forums as well and other forums...
Spread the word and get this sploit fixed ASAP!

Personally i'd rather see priority patches fixing issues like this asap then waiting multiple months for a patch that 'may' fix it along side other things..
The leaderboard is a large part of this game so that means for many people stats and the playing feild being balanced is a big thing for many players..
The need to consider an emergency / urgent patching scheme so that things like this can be patched ASAP and not allowed to fester and spread amongst a few people to gain that unfair advantage.

I envisage they will reset anyone above a certain score cap in any one round...
Cosidering he mentioned 2047 or something as the points cap i rekon it would be around there.

That is what happened with the commander glitch.  Dice didn't fix it for a while and people went nuts with it.  I envision the same thing happening with 2142 if this glitch does not get fixed quickly.  Then you will see a bunch of peeps crying about how the leader board is littered with people who used the glitch.

I don't remember in which one of the other posts spawn said this, but I have to agree that a coding error like this is completely unacceptable. The only reason this could've happened is if you have a lazy programmer that didn't feel like making the distinction in code between podding out, and just switching seats.

Then you have the Titan lag bug which completely ruins the game since FPS go down to the low 10's once you get on. You can't possibly tell me they didn't catch this in the Beta. Oh wait, I played in the Beta and we had this issue as well.

So rather than releasing a stable game, they try to push delivery times for the sake of money and end up having to make compromises such as these. Why fix these bugs that could possible take weeks right, just release a patch 1-2 months later and everyone is happy. They already have our money anyway.

Anyway, good glitch find. And thanks for the info on how to do it, now I know what everyone is doing when they hover over the Titan.

I agree: That having lazy coders working on this game is an issue, but seeing as you would've found this glitch in the beta..

Well, I would've gone blackmail with Dice first. "Look, Ive found a fatal flaw in this game - Mexican special needs commander fatal. Ill tell you it, but if you dont fucking fix it before release, God help the stat servers, Capishe?"

Whats done is done. But yes, in the end, such a huge fuckup should be punished without warning, they thought no-one would catch them, and they were caught.

if i were EA i would not reset the stats, i would only make a new scoring "global point system" that would not count the point earn that way (too bad for those who earn it the right way).



That way, the scoring will be almost clear of padding.
