I did a search and did not find the answer to my question, so here goes.
I was on a Gamecenter.com server playing Wake 2005. I was on the USMC side and went as a medic.
While waiting for a way off the carrier I was healing and reviving teammates after bomb and arty strikes. I also revived a couple of people that were TK'd by some smacktards that were going for the jets and attack helo. I was not associated with these retards in any way and was really only trying to help. {and get the revive points of course}
Tried to get to shore on the Blackhawk a couple of times and didn't make it. Respawned and repeated above waiting for the next ride. Made it once and gunned down a couple of enemys and died a glorious death.
Respawned one more time and as I was getting in the helo I got the "you are being kicked for excesive team killing" message. Booted and another kick showed up in my stats. {that is now 3}
I had no teamkills at all. Every one of the 3 or 4 people I gunned down were enemys and were reflected as so on the screen and in my score that I checked just prior to the kick.
I was not flying the helocopter so I was clean there as well.
Now my question:
If you heal or revive others that were the victims of a Tk does this accrue against you as if it were a TK? I revived maybe 4 or 5 Tks on the Essex in between attempts to get to the shore. I got a revive point as normal every time.
Is this some way to keep idiots from stat padding?
I won't be losing any sleep over the kicks or anything like that, but I consider myself a clean player and of the 2 kicks I had before this 1 is for a high ping {oh well couldn't control that} and the other was a suicide freak that wanted me to pay for taking "his" tank so he kept jumping under the tracks.
Thanks for answering, even after a couple of hundred hours I still keep finding out stuff about this game!
