How in the world do you get this...I know its 10 repairs but It is just so hard, I tried everything
Wait... you're looking for Veteran Resupply or Veteran Repair?
veteran resupply isnt that hard i recieved it on masthuur citey in the balck hawk on the gunner position
I get at least 20-30 resupply points every time I play Iron gator, If you have special forces this is the map to get it on. possibly due to the amount of grenade whoreing that goes on there...
I've changed the title of this thread to better fit what you're asking about.
I got mine on Daqing Oilfields as Chinese. Bunch of spec ops kept attacking the assets, so I get in the tunguska, let them blow the assets, then kill them, rush over for the repair and wait for them to return. 1 thing you can do, which your commander will apreciate btw, is to wrench just enough to get the asset back on line, then rush to the other doing the same...once all are at least functional, hang around to completely repair them. 10 isn't nearly so hard, still trying for my expert repair........
I can't get my vet repair either, all be it I haven't really tried that hard yet. Can you get it if you're commander and you repair the arty and the other assets? The arty repairs sooooooo slow. I hate it.
i'm working to get enough hours to even try it!!!
I got 13 repair points at Sharqi a few days ago, but I didn't have the hours to receive the veteran badge. However, I did receive my basic with those 13 points which was quite neat.
Anyway, I guess KStryker didn't ask about my tales of heroism, so I'll try to write some useful tips here that probably apply to all kind of (legal) statpadding
You need time to be able to pull off some of the stunts needed for certain badges. Repair points seem to be widely seen as quite hard to get, so you truly need to "extend" your play time. The way to do this is to find a big map (64 players), that's not populated with more than is needed to start the game. If you do this, the tickets will last quite long, giving you more time to do your repairs. I also think it's more likely that your commander assets will be blown up on a map with fewer players (quite easy to infiltrate the base), so it should improve things even further.
Not sure this will help you, but I atleast hope it will. As my sig clearly points out, there are a bunch of more experienced people in this forum that should be able to give you more detailed help. Good luck!

I was in a game, where my commander spawned as spec ops, blew up 1 asset, then while he blew up the second he killed himself in the process. Then he spawned as engineer and repaired. Dropped a nade at his feet and spawned as spec ops. Repeat.
10 minutes later he told us all he got his expert repair badge.

Getting the Veteran Repairimg isn´t that much hard. I got on Wake Island 2007 and I got 18 repairing points. I was sitting in a jeep with 2 other guys and when the jeep was damaged I got out and repaired it. Maybe it´s a useful tip that u can´t get repairing points as a commander and when nobody is sitting in the car.....
Try this way: Play MEC on a Karkand 64 map. Take one of the APCs and basically support the main tank. I got 26 repair points without even trying.
It can be done. Wait until you try for expert.
Yeah I'm desperate enough to try blowing up my own assets and suiciding as engineer to do it.
sometimes that's what is required, a little unintentional help from an agressive enemy spec op, gj miancourse69
I am retarded when I comes to repairing. I can't for the life of me get the BASIC repair badge. Maybe it has something with the commander using supply drops on assets as im about to fix them?
Can I take my jeep and grenade it a few times then repair it for points?
Also, are repair pts given per amount of repairing or per repair?

10 Repairs in a round is pretty hard i think, but what about de expert repair badge, you need 25 in a round, you gotta stadpad to get that amount of repairs in a single round.
Hahah that would work too.Tcx_1 wrote:

It would have been funnier if he had been kicked at 9 repair points for negative score LOLTcx_1 wrote:

What I did to get mine *hangs head in shame* is you hop in a humvee and drive it into the ocean (like at Wake). You then switch to positions 4 or 5 and just start repairing. It takes about 5ish minutes to do.
Yawn.
Get in a vehicle as engineer, follow a group of friendly vehicles/armor (Each damaged vehicle/repair around you speeds up the time required to get a repair point by a factor of 1).
Expert repair received.
