Well that's life, if you dun like the stats system you really shouldn't play games that use it. Go play like Counter Strike Source, Quake 3 or other games that don't have unlocks.MrEzeuss wrote:
So playing as a beginning player with a basic gun getting sniped by someone in cloak with that superdooper sniper-rifle with scope and stabilizer seems fair to you?!Zefar wrote:
I'll give some hint on why statpadding is bad.
1: You get the grenades, sprint boost, another clip to the weapon, the new weapons and some of them are far more powerful than the original one(Voss comes up in mind here, because it takes like 4 shot to kill with it and it got 40 rounds per clip. Bad huh?), you get better ammo hub, medic hub, Repair thing, cloaking device, EMP grenades, APM Mine, Demopack, Machine-gun turret, Spawn beacon, Motion mines, emp mines against vehicles, defibrillator(spelling? spel checked) and I think that's it.
etc. ....
Why should i spend half a game in limbo not able to gain points waiting to re-spawn because a cloaked enemy gains the points by blowing me up with demo, machine-turrets, motion mines that i can't use yet because i haven't got enough points?
speak about fairness. Maybe it was fair in the beginning of the game when nobody had anything. But now you'll need to do what you need to do to play with the fully utilized.
I'll do everything to get an edge, because such is war.
p.s. anybody want to buy my mother in law, i need a Voss for my kit.
But otherwise if you play one with, follow the damn rules.
