Cyborng ninja can u confirm this? Some guy didnt overclock and still got it as average? WTF?
Lie and I know for a fact. More along the lines of 80 to 90 FPS.

ok read the site and didn't see anything about 99.9 FPS on there.
lol, I'm trying to figure out where 99.9FPS is as well with that link.
I got an E6600 with a 7900GT and never drop under 100fps in BF2.Kaiser0 wrote:

Sorry, that video card is not that powerful. That would mean he had everything else down to lowest or completely off to get those kind of frame rates. Essentially making the graphics settings so low that he put the load on the CPU and not the video card.cyborg_ninja-117 wrote:
Yes. No OC, 99FPS Average on 1280X1024 resolution, 4X AA and 8X AFKaiser0 wrote:

An x850XT PE can average 80FPS+ in Bf2 with 2Gb RAM and a decent CPU.Agent_Dung_Bomb wrote:

An 7900GT is about 2-3x as powerful and can push games alot faster, not to mention todays CPU's and fast RAM only add fuel to the fire.
A 7900GT with a crappy CPU and 1GB RAM couldnt do 99FPS, but with 2GB RAM and a core 2 duo, its definately more than possible.
Plus BF2's an old game, it came out in 2005, at the time when 6800's and x850's were Nvidia and ATi's top of the line.
I got a buddy off xfire running 7900GT+2GB RAM+ AMD 64 3800+ max settings over 90FPS.
Sorry, not gonna happen. Here is a link to a review showing BF2 at 1280x1024 4x AA/8x AF. They are using an E6800 and 2GB RAM. At these settings the 7900GT scores just under 80 FPS. I'm not saying that the FPS may not bounce up to 99.9 FPS, but they certainly do not stay pegged at that setting.reefl3x wrote:
