I don't know what it is lately, but my time spent playing S/F has been outstanding as of late. Not just because of my scores, but becuase of you guys (the majority)

I'd have to say on a guesstimate that at least 75% of the time I can get a squad up an runnin too kick some ass.

Point is, the teamwork from some of you folks has been a blessing.

I like to pilot the APACHE alot to try and help folks get medals and such, so when I land the chopper to tell my co-pilot something (cuz I can't get my mic to work) and they patiently listen to what i say, I'm beside myself.

To those that frequent the same servers as I and team up with me to give the tangos hell, I thank you for providing me the possibility of playing this game as it was meant to played, with teamwork.

The only thing I can think of is most non-teamwork oriented folks went to 2142...

All I know is the teamplay in S/F has NEVER been at a higher peak than it is now!

Great gaming folks!!

SF rules. Vanilla is good, but I find that SF provides better gameplay. No tking for choppers/armour (well, ive seen it once...a faggot just now on my regular server kept flying transport choppers into our HIND cos he didnt get there first), better players, better competition, less noobs, more teamwork, less spawnrape and more focus on winning. Harder and more rewarding matches.
Well, except for Warlord where everyone wants SAS to take a Palace CP for a whore fest to remind them of their Karkand days.
SF is worlds apart from vanilla, and its how BF2 should be. Its just a shame that theres only approx 350 servers in the world running it....whereas Vanilla/EF/AF has over 1000.

I enjoy SF alot more than vanilla.  Sure, Wake Island is fun when you get in a plane/chopper, and Karkand is good if your in armor, but with SF it doesn't really matter what you do, its still heaps of fun.  Plus with the addition of grapples and zip lines it makes the battles that much more interesting.

Nothing wrong with some second floor raping. I love standing on second floor balacony at the first window with an RPK spawn raping everyone while giving ammo to my friends who lay down claymore so none of them can run free.

I fully agree, SF is way better then BF2.

SF is the bomb, ive had much more fun in SF than vanilla, and i simply love the zipline.....its the definition of style. One thing i really want to do is get a zipline kill, if i do that my BF experienceis complete!

Clock Work,  The other night I played on a server against you.  You guys owned us because you had some awsome team work going on.  I wish I could have been on your side.  I do agree that SF has a much better team work community going on than vanilla BF2.  People seem to actually talk on the SF servers.  I suck at the night maps but I have alot of fun playing them.
I think the secret to them is to have PATIENCE and work as a team to get the objectives.  It seems like the squads I get on are trying to rush things like a regular BF2 map.  I don't know the maps well enough yet to be a squad leader so I am hoping to get on a server with someone who knows what is going on.
For me the night maps are not about points, but enjoying a change of pace and trying to get the win.  I think it is cool to be hiding in the shadows and hear the traffic on a distant road and insect noises.  The ambiance really adds to my enjoyment.  Hope to see you and more people on the servers.
SF rocks and I wish more people would play it.  It really is a good change of pace if you forget about stats and just want to have some challenging fun.

Just had my fun on SF, and got promoted twice! One of those rounds got me a 174 BRS on Night Flight...who said above that night maps werent about points? So thats Captain SnakeShiT to you now

But definitly, SF has a lot more teamwork and squadwork than vanilla which makes it a much more enjoyable experience. I have to admit, I find ziplines worthless. Grapple hooks are so much more useful for getting around a map. Why use a zipline when you can just parachute...
Then again, I dont play spec ops or sniper...so that may be why!

hey ownage, i think i saw you on the KOF warlord IO server yesterday. yes, i totally agree, special forces' gameplay is a dimension above that of vanillas. i dont play it as often as i should, but when i do, i am reminded of bf2 at its best.
