Just thought that since there are a few of the EU community now playing 2142, that we could have a thread for talking about stuff...

Recently I have been playing in the future with some of the EU guys. Had some good rounds with young NooBest yesterday when we dominated in the air as usual. Also been playing many rounds with Winegum as he is always on (totally addicted).

For all you EU guys that dont have the game and are having doubts about getting it, then in my opinnion, you should get it. I was not too sure to start with, and the Demo did not really fill me with joy, but when you play the full game and get some of the unlocks then you realise that the game IS good. It takes a while to get used to the new game, maps, weapons and vehicles, but once you get familar with them you will start to dominate.

The game does aim to try and improve teamwork which is a really good thing. When I am playing with someone I know it does make the game better. Sp hopefully more EU guys will get it and play some.

p.s. incase you have not noticed, I have also created a 2142 channel on the TS² server

Indeed Master Dude, I played with Slayer yesterday had some great fun, specially my titan attack strategy, which resulted in :

RunDje_MC is dead
Someone is dead
Slayer is dead

anyway, the game is a lot of fun in my eyes, I like Belgrade the most so far with conquest mode,

I don't have the game and don't know if I will buy it anytime soon. I only have time for one game in my life (like a woman)

I have it, I've played some games with dude, winegum, rundje and noobest... lots of fun I really like the teamwork improvements... you acually get extra points for following your sl's orders!

lol, right now I have a guy after me who wants to knife me... I knifed him and then he added me to his buddy list... now he follows me around to different servers and can be seen scouting for me then running towards me with his knife

nr 1 > 5 was all our team, great teamwork etc with medics...

me as Squadleader, lol I had 3 squad leader points before I started today now I have 199 lol !

we were playing conquest earlier on for ages, then I joined back in and NooBesT and Knightnifer where on a titan level.

******** BIG BUG ALERT ********

On the Titan mode when we were playing, our team had all the silos, and the enemy titan shield appeared to be down. yet it was not. Nothing we did would take the shield down and the enemy then won the round.

btw, what weapons do you guys use? I normally go assault with the standard assault-rifle (I don't like the unlocks) with shot gun and defibs... but when I log on now I will have a new unlock and that will be active cammo and then I can use the lambert carbine as a field upgrade!

btw, Krylov FA-37 Assault Rifle > all other weapons!

yes we know that, but the shield was still up so we would die trying to board it. even though the icon at the top of the screen showed that the shield was down and the enemy titan was taking hull damage.

I prefer Conquest over Titan mode.....Titan mode.......hmm I dunno, its kinda fun to board the thing and all but its not my kind of play, now this afternoon THATS MY KIND of play, conquest squad work, thats how I wanna play 2142.

Hope was fun for the squad members also

Are you guys just playing on any server that takes your fancy or are you sticking to a certain server?

I only ask becasue I would love to get some quality teamplay in with you lot but I feel it would be impertinent just to add you to my buddy list.

wow... I got to try the Lambert carbine as field upgrade today.. and I got to say, Lambert+cammo+RDX+knife is one hell of a combination!

btw, I'm ranked 876 with the Krylov and getting higher every day!

was some great rounds on Berlin only server tonight! but dam those guys on the roof was irritating... to bad I didn't get a pic of how they got up there.. I saw it twice, it was fucking insane! the sl surfed on a sl drone up to the top of the building then everyone spawned on him! I hope they make it impossible to do that because it was really annoying.. especially when the last guy on the EU team was up there and refused to get killed! >.<

Tip for anyone attacking titan:
Once in the hallway, of which people set up senties - Nade spam. The most helpful tip anyone can ever give you. lol - got kile 8 or 9 kills today just with suiciding into the hallway, throwing 2 nades getting killed, killing 3 guys, get revived. "Rinse and repeat"
