That doesn't make a damn bit of sense. If the factory sets the card to run at 580/1500 by default and the user further overclocks that to say 600/1550, the factory setting has no way to increase on that, since it's setting is lower.Des.Kmal wrote:
if u overclock it again, the factory is only going to OC it to higher levels. omg, just give up.The Stillhouse Kid wrote:
The OP's card is only 20Mhz core and 50Mhz memory over stock. That's not going to be enough to burn it out in 3-4 months like you say.
Perhaps you could explain how card makers can sell overclocked versions of their cards when they're the same as the non-oc'd ones and still provide the same warranty? The only difference is the oc'd ones have their BIOS factory set to higher core and memory speeds.
Again, if they supposedly will burn out faster than the non-oc'd versions then how can they offer the same warranty?clock speeds, thats what the dif is. they are alot fastyer, *some* and thats why they burn out faster.
Yeah, explain this:omg. want me to explain anything else?

Seriously, if I didn't know that you couldn't format the C: drive while Windows is running I believe I'd keep my mouth shut.
PS, Pay close attention to your last post in that thread.
