The british accents in 2142 are fine.... Makes me wonder why they are odd in SF.
Whoa... Can't believe these forums are still kicking.

Starlight. It`s the NATO codename for medic i think.

Some one should have sent dice copies of bravo 2 zero and who dares wins.

"blokes"

I gather this means "dudes" or something alike? What does this really mean to the Brits?

the french guys sound like inspector Clouseau.  The original Peter Sellers, not Steve Fucking Martin.

but its weird most of the SAS arnt from England, they are scottish, irish and english mostly scottish. i think they shud have made the assault, support and anti tank scottish, the engineer, medic, and spec ops english and the sniper irish...(we do have the best snipers) irish guard snipers
shooting off of this, i think it's really weird how assault, support, and anti tank for usmc are all black,
while the medic, engineer, specops, and sniper are all white.

so white collar, blue collar, etc etc. So scots are all retards who went to plumbing school.

just wanted to throw that out there. food for thought.

it means guys/men. "We need more blokes" would mean "we need more men".

You think that's bad, imagine they had an Australian force in SF.

"Hey folks, I say we pummel some of those blokes over there, whaddya reckon?"

Or even worse, imagine them changing weapons:

"Oh, that one's a beaut!"

Consider yourself lucky, my friends, consider yourself lucky.

Anyone remember Mr. Bean? Oh...wait....he didn't talk.

Seriously, nobody cares about upper class, lower class, or suburbanites. Anyone with 50 bucks is welcomed into BF2.
Mr Bean did sort of grunt though, having that would be entertaining!

as a brit, it DOESseem like the don't have te right accnt. medic should be " can a medic get the hell over here NOW please?". that woul;d be more brittish. and as for repairs needed " can an engineer get the F**k over here, we need repairs NOW" and as for support " can a support soldier get over here NOW, we have run out of munitions"

No worries man, the accents make the SAS my favourite army to play.  Oh and to the guy who can't tell if they say starlight or skyline, from what I can make it it's both.  Commander screams starlight or starlight to me, while his puppets scream skyline.  I could be wrong but that's what I hear.
