Attention Soldiers!

As we continue to make enhancements to o ur account support servers we would like to once again thank players for their tremendous reception of Battlefield 2142. We will be continuing to make improvements to our servers to ensure that this issue is entirely eliminated. Please note that these changes are not client side and do not require any patching to enjoy the demo.

We have been watching the reaction and d o know that there have been two primary issues with the demo. First, the DX9 issue is still causing problems for some people. Most of you have solved the problem on your own, and thanks to all of the people who have been reposting our solution in order to help out those with issues. The suggested course of action for anyone still having problems is to uninstall the demo, then update the DX9 driver. After that, re-install the demo. We would also like to direct players to the guides on our forums so that they may quickly trouble shoot any directx 9 related issues. Please also note that these issues are exclusive to the demo and are not present in the retail version of Battlefield 2142.

The second issue is with the server inst ability at times. There has been such an overwhelming number of players online that at times people are getting booted or experiencing lag on board the Titan. We are working on a fix for this and will have more details in the near future. In the meantime, thanks for your patience with this.

Again, thank you all for your support wi th the demo, and we’re looking forward to seeing all of you on the battlefield when the full game ships next week!
