An MSNBC segment examines if Rep. Foley made a large contribution to the Republican Party in exchange for silence about sexual messages that Foley sent to House pages. Foley gave $100,000 to the GOP Campaign Committee in July. The large contribution came at same time when Republican House leadership ignored Foley's emails.

*sighs* Shipbuilder, all of your post here lately are of clips/blogs/polls/cut & paste/ liberal media beliefs, with a dash of your opinion thrown in. It's just an observation, but it seems like thats all you do here. Do you think that you will actually bring in more people to believe in your views, by simply posting all of this Liberal media, here at bf2s.com?
I'm not trying to say stop, doing what your doing, it's, just boring. But if it makes you feel better at the end of the day to get a pat on the back and a little Karma point  for doing it, I'm sure we will see another one of you unoriginal post here soon. End rant.

Uh, if he did, it wouldn't matter.  The rpublican party is not the same as his leaders in congress.  That'd be the super fatass Dennis Hastert.  If he should be paying anyone it would have been to him, who knew about the pedofiliac representative and should ahve done something.  But because the race would be tight in November, it seems Hastert just let the pedofile go.  I mean what's more important, maintaining unrighteous power or kids being molested and raped by perv congressmen?  GAY congressmen none the less! lol

IRONCHEF, it was limited to emails and IMs.  He did not actually have sex with or have a sexual encounter with a teen, and his representatives say he was drunk.  And that he was molested himself by a priest.

I don't know if that's entirely the truth, but I don't think he's actually a paedophile.  One is not neccesarily a paedophile if you look the wrong way at a minor.

and here i thought it was us conservatives that were supposed to be homophobic, seems Foley's orientation was known to his peers, and they never held it against him, btw, the emails which had come to everyone's (hastert's) attention were not sexual in nature, that was the IM's that weren't released until this year
