nice one mate, it's good to see people caring this much about a fellow gamer.
also, was it just me or was the video quite jumpy at the beginning part?

Good video and music. I like it! Was that you and some friends in the video?
RIP skeetsters. Even though I didn't know him, human life is always precious.

Very nice. I was hoping to see the Missing Man Formation performed in BF2 but you can't have it all from a memorial video. *slaps self*
A very nice tribute. RIP skeetman.
my condolence...

Yeah, that was me in the video. Sorry if it got a little boring in the middle there. I might redo some of it tonight... after watching it again. There's some pretty slow parts in there.ImposedThreat wrote:

Yeah we tried several times to get close together for the missing man formation but it turned out to be harder than it seemed lolDesertFox423 wrote:

After some of the bad stuff that has happened in schools, it's kind of weird to see the shots of him playing with guns. It reminds me a lot of some other video clips of other guys who ended up doing bad stuff too. I hope that one of the lessons that you can pass on to your children is gun safety, and responsibility.
Now that my PSA is done I'd like to say that I loved the missing man formation at the end. My dad was USAF, and if you ask me, that's the best tribute there is in the US armed services. Very well done.
One last thing. For whoever the director was, to frame the first and last scenes with the planes taking off, and then the fly by was very cool.
My thoughts and prayers are still with you D. I hope you're doing well.
RIP Skeet.

Thanks for the kind words. The retard in the video was actually me, not Skeet. I don't have any footage of him which sucks. He didn't commit suicide with a gun so I felt that it was ok to use some shooting vids. I think it also shows that sometimes death comes unexpectedly.Shopvac wrote:

I showed Herb (his brother) the video last night. He liked it so I'm happy. He's going to send it to some of Skeet's friends down in Oregon where he's from.

god job downy. i have had two friends commit suicide in the past and it is really hard to deal with. if you ever need any helping trying to rework the missing man formation let me know.King_County_Downy wrote:

Thanks for the clarification D. I was kind of freaked out by the gun footage if that was the way he died. I feel a little bit better knowing that wasn't him.
That was a really touching video.
Yeah, I'd love to try it again. Not everyone had TS or a mic so it was pretty hard to get everyone in a tight formation. Executionerstyle rented a server for us to use so that we didn't have to be on an empty server with the "This game will start when..." message on the screen. Maybe we could find someone with a non-ranked server we could play on for an hour or two.Marlboroman82 wrote:

i think my clan has a server we can use, also our ts should accomadate everyone. maybe sat we can all get on and trying to make it work.
Great Video, R.I.P.

I don't mean to be an ass, but if your friend killed himself, I don't think he is heaven.

No he's not heaven. I don't think anyone is heaven. But assuming that you meant "is IN heaven" then please read the following.Cougar wrote:

There's a place for religious dogma in the serious talk and debate forum.
If you didn't mean to be an ass, you wouldn't have said anything regarding someone being in heaven or not. Telling someone that you think that their friend or family member has been prevented from eternal paradise because of a distressed decision that they made . . . pretty much makes you an ass. I'd say sorry for the harsh words . . . but that would make me sound stupid too.
I am sorry if this post takes this thread off subject. I just don't like it when anyone is holier than thou, and especially when Downey is trying to use this post to heal. Saying mean stuff to someone who is trying to find peace is like asking a person with cancer what happened to their hair. It's juvenile and ignorant.
RIP Skeetman68

Depends on your religion. I hope none of my loved ones go to hell or, well, not heaven. But, you can't stress over it because you can't do anything about it.
