The only reason I play support in the first place is because only a few people play it, like Anti-Tank, as opposed to Sniper and Medic.
Well before 1.3patch the PKM got a new name "The Sniper" it really did out class the sniper because you had a damn good hitrate with it then, in 1.3 they reduce but it was still good and it still is but this weapon is not a weapon you run around and jump around a corner, that's where RPK-74 kinda come in because this shoots faster and do pretty good damage. But then PKM do 40 dmg and its pretty nice to take down single oponent and few people if they don't know where you are. RPK-74 is still good though manage to take down lots of people with it on IO servers
The PKM used to be my fav until 1.4, now the M249 has become my fav support weapon.

rpk is not that accurate either after 4 or 5 shots its all over the place, a prone pkm is unstoppable(if u know what crosshairs/sights are)
That is 100% true, i would say the PKM, but that's b/c about 90% of my LMG kills are with it so i'm used to how it works, and i can't use the RPK for shitEther151 wrote:

If you really take the time to sit down and compair all of the guns in this game the standard non-unlocks are just as good if not better than the unlocks. The best gun in the game for any kit is the one you play with the most, the more time you play with it you learn the recoil effects, shot placement, and so on so just pick one and practice.
so like he said, just pick one and practice with it.
Honestly, you'll do better if you pick one weapon for each kit and only use that weapon, you'll be MUCH better in the long run if you do that
Well it all depends, If its close range I'd go for the RPK.

They are both good guns. I'll take the RPK as MEC, if I'm going to be at close ranges, but I'll take the PKM for the others. M249 is okay but I don't like the accuracy of it. Seems like a ton of bullets are just flying everywhere.
