BF2S Forums connection problem????

1. Instal 1.4 again on top of the last '1.4'.
2. Try diffirent servers.
3. Check your connection options and firewall.
4. Reinstal BF2.
5. Format your disk and reinstall windows.
6. Buy a new computer.

Think i found your problem that is screwing things up, you should either remove the mods or reinstall the game, this is not a 1.4 or connection problem.  You messed up the game with the mods and now it wont run right.

Yup... Some mods tend to mod more than just their OWN files... Pretty darned annoying.
But seriously... I've had a similar problem on my backup computer, and I run NO mods on that one. The problem here was PUNKBUSTER ! Yeah.. beleive it or not, Punkbuster can be a BITCH even if you run straight BF2. However, a manual update quickly allowed me to play EF on the backup machine after the primary went "kaboom" last month (I know I know... A month is along time to leave your baby unattended, but I have other more intresting things to do during a normal day)
