Ok, this is simple. Since this would have happened anyway, let's keep it to two manageable threads.

Post your system pics and specs here

If you wish to comment about somebody's crazy frickin system (or lack therof) you may use the Rig Comment Thread. You can link to a specific post by right clicking the date it was posted and selecting "Copy Link Location" or whatever it is in your flavor of browser.

Ok I got tired of carrying around 75lbs of desktop everywhere so I bought this laptop:

Clevo D900T
Intel Pentium 4 - 660  (3.6GHz, 2MB Cache, 64bit, HT)
2GB Dual Channel DDR2 - 533
2x 60GB SATA 5400rpm hard drives running RAID0
256MB PCI-X GeForce Go6800Ultra
4.1 Surround sound built in (it actually is decent sounding ... for a laptop)
17" Widescreen (1920x1200)
Lightscribe DVD/CD burner
All the other standard ports (USB, Firewire, etc)
Windows XP and a 64bit version of Linux

Accessories:
Logitech MX-518 mouse
Belkin N52 speedpad
older MS Sidewinder joystick

Waiting for:
GeForce Go7800GTX
Logitech z5500's
Burn marks on lap to disappear

And yes, I still suck at BF2!!

I use a Plantronics USB headset for sound/microphone. Other than that the motherboard has on-board sound.

Not the best specs in the world, but I'm happy with it. Plays everything very well.

My computer (built by yours truly):

AMD Athlon XP 3000+ @ 2.2 GHz (will soon be OC'd)
ASUS A7N8X-E Deluxe
1 Gb PC3200 DDR400 RAM (dual-channel, soon to be 2 gigs)
Apollo GeForce 6800 128Mb OC'd to 396/841
Two 80 Gb WD Caviar SE @7200 rpm in RAID 0
19" LCD monitor @ 12 ms response
16x DVD-RW drive
52x24x52 CD-RW/DVD-ROM drive
Logitech X-530 5.1 Surround Sound System
Creative SoundBlaster Audigy2 NX
Antec tower w/ TruePower 2.0 430 watt PSU

Not the best, of course, but I'm only 16 and I pay for everything
Anyway, I got 4700-4800 on 3dMark05, plus I run BF2 on med settings and get good FPS
