I got a problem, a week ago i installed 1.4 worked fine, but today i started bf2 and i wanted to play karkand, so the map loaded and then i wanted to choose a kitt but i could do anything couldnt move the mous couldnt press escape. PLEASE HELP ME

Is the game still doing this or was it just a one off?
If it was a one off it may have been another process in the bacground taking all of the resources but not minimizing BF2 to desktop.

I hate to be an ass, but way too many people have been using "problem", "help", and "what do I do" for thread titles lately, use specifics, like "1.4 medkit problem"
a complete clean and reinstall fixes most lock up bugs
I have the same problem, I also put a post on Totalbattlefield and Planetbattlefield. Check those out to see if somebody replyed yet. My name is ultraman.
Download the full patch for bf2, its like over 543,724 kb. Re-install the patch and restart the computer. It fixed mine.
Isn't this the same problem thats been posted about a billion times before? The one where BF2 randomly decides to fubar up all your control settings so nothing works? If so I believe all you need do (and yes it is a pain in the arse) is delete your control settings file (can't remember name, can't be bothered to look either) and then reconfigure all your controls again.
