I used to play battle field aaages ago i had quite a high rank, points and kit unlocks but it looks like my tag is gone does anyone know if i have any chance of getting it back?

Sorry guys i meant to put this in BF2 help I mean my old gamer tag in BF2 it was DSmiddy just DSmiddy not DSmiddy84 but it doesnt seem to be on there system anymore so iv lost all my old score, everything. I tried doing account retreival but every time it said the nick was wrong.

hehe iv had 2 of my mates say that as well, my tag was def. DSmiddy my rank was around the Sergeant Major with a lot of time put in to getting that far tank was my most used vehicle with well over 1k kills in it and a few kit unlocks as well and most used kit was enigineer.

do you still have the game installed from back then? (or had backups, or still have the old hdd)

If so navigate to your My Documents\Battlefield 2\Profiles and look in each of the numbered folders for a file called profile.con, open each one up with notepad and youll see what your profile name was in there.

Havent got any of the files left from before, i been through 3 PC's since that, EA have said that they cant find anything and wont be able to get it back or give me back my rank on my new profile, so its just a case of building it all up again i surpose.

Just another 45000 point and a load of awards to go to get back to where i was.
