iv gone 19 once with sniper on karkand (not claywhoring but i did use both of em up)
and iv gone 20+ on karkand with aussault

I think the light support weapons are the hardest weapon to master because you want to let rip but its accurate (accurate as boomarang is absolute bollox imo your the kind of person i see firing from the hip at me and i tap prone and send one right into you head or a few to the torso and you dead meat) when used correctly close , middle or long only downside is mobility shooting from the hip is pointless and if assault get close in and run circles around you it take a while to figure out what to do in thatt situation thats why i think people dont like it but ive played it for over 100 hours odd of light machine gun ( by no means saying im the uber at it just that it takes time to get good at).

I think the G36C is the best overall gun, but the PKM is devastating when you have a good position. I've been using the PKM a lot the last several days, since I've never been a big fan of support, and man this thing is really nice and lots of fun. I'm used to just crouching and shooting, but with the PKM I just dive/zoom/burst and I have been winning most of my one-on-one encounters- no matter what class. I've also gotten several good kill streaks with it.
My support KDR, since I didn't have many kills with it in the first place, went from a noobley .7 to over 1.x in just a couple days. I've been playing a lot of IO lately though, so that is helping - I seem to have a nack for finding good positions to run off several kills in a row.
I use the PKM for what it was meant for: support. I don't go charging straight in, I just lay fire down and tear people up from medium distance if possible.

Wow you unlock noobs, M249 FTW.
I also find the M16 to be the best assault rifle, especially at long range. I consistently pick off snipers in 1-3 shots.
