nope. it's been happening alot lately. idk why.

Happened to me a few times....
Step 1. Arm grenade launcher and run around with it as your primary weapon
Step 2. Aim launcher at ground/wall/team mates head
Step 3. Pull trigger
Step 4. Enemy is now dead.....please wait for respawn

I too have seen this a lot lately. As soon as it happens I type in Bold...NOOB TUBE RIDES AGAIN! I laugh, and hopefully others do as well. I had I guy doin' it to me on jalalabad and he eventually switched teams and joined my squad. I asked him to stop doing that and he did. We scored like 200 points each as an awesome squad, even w/ out the noob tube. Hopefully he learned that the tube has its place, not as an all around shoot people in the face weapon.

Yeah it's been happening to me a lot too. Figure it's all the guys who used to dolphin dive needing a new vice.
well its ment to kill.. and its (in the right hands) a one shot kill weapon which sucks for the other person.. but if its killing its doing its job as intended.. dont get me started on the many many things in game that are nothing like they are in real life...

Yeah, the Noob tube is back, played with a friend on karkand and within a couple of minutes he had died 3 times, and two of this deaths was from a team mates tube.... A laughed at it but when it started to happen to me it felt like someone tubed my face...

Recently, I've come to accept the GL... Both on the sending and recieving end.
My rationality behind this is as such: The grenade launcher is one of the main reasons to use the Assault class.
Think about it...
-Spec ops have C4 and a damn fine carbine.
-Snipers have 2 free kills and a long range accurate rifle.
-Support has infinite ammo and mighty fine LMGs.
-Anti-tank has a weapon that can take out vehicles and acts a lot like the grenade launcher in retrospect, also has decent weapons in the form of a DAO and SMGs.
-Medic is hard to kill, revives downed teamates, and has a decent weapon. Usually the same weapon as assault without the grenade launcher.
-Engineers are quite formidable in an armored column with other engineers, have very good close range weapons and can repair team vehicles and assets, as well as 'Mine-sense' and the ability to disarm them... sometimes. Not to mention 'vehicle denial' frisbees.
Now, if you take away the grenade launcher, what does the assault have to its name?
A single smoke grenade, which dissiapates very quickly and usually doesn't provide adequate cover.
Armor, which means very little in the grand scheme of things.
(with F2000) Flashbangs, useful but very easy to avoid the effects and/or flash yourself.
So yes, it's annoying getting killed by a grenade launcher. I don't really hear much about getting SRAW'ed or Eryx'ed as much as I do about grenade launchers. In a sense, getting killed that way by an anti-tank is worse, as often it outright kills you.
So, next time your feet are blown up by an M203 or GP-30/25, try not to get too angry...

so i can expect more assault morons noob tubing like there is no tomorrow. how about allowing spec ops to throw c4 like mad when the game came out?

anyone seen this player around lately: i_shot_a_ gerbil..... the biggest noob tuber of all. got banned by a buttload of servers. and thats all he does, no bullets, whores the APC spawnkills like crazy, tk me way too many times.

damn, I thought this was going to be a thread decrying the AT rocket launcher.
Hey, I'm not talking about the GL as a weapon. I use it all the time. I'm talking about when people fire it at my feet from 2 feet away and I die and they don't. I was under the impression that it had to travel 15 feet or something before it would instantly blow.

Instead of fixing it they just made it weird, like it only explodes on the ground (sometimes it bounces off walls others it doesn't). They made the correct changes, but then they tryed to nerf it before they released that patch. Maybe they changed it back to the original in 1.4 with out telling anyone.Elamdri wrote:

i don't bother with n00b t00b anymore.. for me its quite an easy recipe.
Add 2,3,4 or 5 parts C4, Add 1 FAV, Mix and enjoy.
