One of the things I would like to see implemented is a range finder, either a separate peice of equipment, or inherent in the sniper scopes.
In the real world, M16 A2s are zeroed in at 300 yards (which could equate to meters, more or less). In the Marines, when I was in, we zeroed in at 36 yards because the trajectory of the bullet at 36 and 300 yards is exactly the same. It is kind of limiting to the game because there are not that many places that have 300 yards and maintainable accuracy. But weapons like the M4 and the L85 and the M95 are all equipped with scopes. I think that when you enter scoped mode, either you get a range in the sight or something. Real world snipers do not go out alone, they go out in 2 man teams, a spotter/rangefinder and a trigger man.
