Introduce an area on the runway, so if a friendly enters while a friendly is in the jet/helo pad you get a warning, saying something like

Jetblocking noob, clear the runway or you will be punished

So sort of like the out of bounds thing

Make it that the jet is invincible to all friendly fire while it is in the runway area

Thanks for putting it in, but like, how many times you have lots of enemies on your runway or helipad? (Other than just some DPV road killing, they go by pretty quickly so you could not abuse it.) And I don't agree that 17A hasn't got any problems. Because How many seconds do you have time to go off? Even if it's something like 5 seconds, it's not problem at all to jump under plane. And if one guy gets first to wait for heli/jet and then the others are coming a bit later to wait for the heli/jet, this would make it like others than the first guy trying to get heli/jet wouldn't have any change to get it, because if they would try to get it they would get killed by that punish thing, because there's the one guy waiting for it and sarkk said that "so if a friendly enters while a friendly is in the jet/helo pad". So the others are the friendlies and the friendly is the one guy.

I know people team kill and its an accident but i hate when you get idiots that come on and shoot his own team on purpose. The other day i had someone keep killing me and the team and saying sorry, we kicked him but that is just being a pain in the arse.

so do i. as far as i interpret sarrk´s idea, he means just an acoustic alert when you enter the busy airstrip. i´m sure there is no problem to implement this, and no one will get harmed.

What solution is that when you just get alert, and no punish or nothing? If the alert doesn't do anything, people will just keep forcing TKs and teamkilling. Btw I haven't seen many people on runway on wake.

simple - disable friendly fire completely.not erelaistic maybe, but it's the only way.
How about we turn ff off so if u hit ppl with cars they just die Player1 is no more worked in BF1942.

I got a new one. Pilot kit. They would have only pistol and knife. So if you want the plane, you can't M95 him because then you would have to be sniper and snipers can't fly. Same thing for SRAW, C4 and any others kits weapons. And pilot kit couldn't use tank or jeep or any other vehicle than transport chopper, attack chopper or jet.

I personally prefer 3A: do not let TKer enter any (unoccupied or not) vehicle during the next 60 seconds. If you already were in the vehicle when you TKed, nothing happens.

Other solution: make additional positions (now we have commander and squad leaders, so add 'pilots' or something like this) and make people apply for that positions the same way they apply for being a commander. Perhaps there should be not a single 'pilot' position, but several available. When someone wants to fly and he's not on the list, he has to 'apply' or 'mutiny' for a position in the list.

This way it will be easier for commander to communicate with pilots, which can be directly talked to over VoIP just like squad leaders (without actually being squad leaders and thus wasting precious 'spawn points' in one-seat planes).

The only real solution is FF off. I think they should make it so when someone M95's a teammate out of a vehicle that the shooter should die and get -4 and the person who was shot should get +2 and live.

Wipe anyone's stats who has more than a thousand TK's by the m95.  Problem solved for the shooting of friendly pilots.

Edit:  Well, maybe a thousand's too much, how about a hundred.  It would make an example of the Tkers.

Ive played servers that were ranked but FF was off.  Idk, oh well, it kept me from accidentally killing a few teammates, and kept me from getting killed as well.

No teamkilling & no teamdamage is the only solution.  & teamdamage + teamkill points should be given back to us.

The game isnt that realistic and no matter when there are friendlies people still chuck nades.

There is nothing wrong with Teamkilling. It does not need to be removed! It is a part of battle and I will continue to do my fair share of tking my fellow teammates.
