i realised that long time.

if the US government seriously did it, wouldnt they silence the people who might be making videos about the government?

Yup. Fuck the sentimental shit. It was bad, but not that bad. It's only a couple of thousand people. It's all just media hype.

I have some things I bet people don't remember.

One of the biggest Mid-East Demonstrations against the Attacks was in Tehran when thousands of Iranians took to the streets in protest the attacks.

The Newspaper in Lemans, France on September 12th had on the front page "We are all Americans" .

So what. That's unrelated.

Lots of those injuries are from Iraq. Which Bush tells us was totally unconnected to Al-Qaeda.
How is any of this relevant?

A couple of thousand people died. That's not such a big deal - much worse stuff happens. The worst of it being ethnic cleansing. The alienation of other nationalities and cultures - a lot like the demonising of muslims happening these days. Virtually all the wars throughout the last century have been about ethnicity, about the belief that one group of people is better than another. 9/11 reinforces my belief that Americans are seen as being in some way special, they aren't. An average American is no more special than a starving child in the 3rd world. Yet no one remembers about the massacres in these countries.

What the hell do you expect today is the anniversary. The problem is not that those are not important but people do not make the effort to bring the other stuff up (American or Other). Unless it is going to be used as a point to somehow bring down America or to poke light and say it's no big deal that thousands of Americans died 5 years ago. Try not to use the other tragedy's as a tool.

you cant "hunt" terrorism. Because terrorism is an idea,  Because the minute you kill one, 2 take his place.

and i'm starting to not like you, you seem to be making light of this whole event. If 3,000 people died by a bomb in the Netherlands today, would you like it if i said "eh, in the long run it wasnt that bad"?

5 years from now I won't be moaning on at the anniversary of his (Steve Irwins) death. That's the difference. He's been dead a week.

There are much worse tragedies that happen around the world. Ethnic cleansing usually at the heart of them. Kosovo, Abkhazia, Rwanda - all worse than 9/11.

Totally agree, but in our first world we remember the ones who didn't survive.
On the other hand compare the WTC with Iraq.

Why are the US involved in Iraq? Yep the MONEY = OIL! You've got it right. Not for the people, cause otherwise there would have been some help in Darfur or Sri Lanka, where people really get butchered. And not a bit supressed like in Iraq. The best statement i've heard: "With 10 percent of the money put into Iraq by the US, they could have helped whole Africa from hunger!"

Please discuss...

Are you kidding me?  We have no facts ok.  Don't you get it yet?  The only things we know is what governments let us know.  Which is not a lot to say the least.  Get of fuking clue.
