Un-Patching BF2

i just installed 1.4 and i want to unpatch it and then try again because BF2 isnt working since i patched the game. how do you unpatch it?

What do you mean specifically by not working with 1.4?

And I think to get to a different patch you have to reinstall and patch to wherever you want.

I always do a copy of the BF2 folder....and then patch the Game...if it's crappy...I delete the folder and do it again....

U can't uninstall patches... So u have to totaly uninstal bf2, (and expansions), reinstall, and use the full patch...

BF2 worked prior to patching it with 1.4, and now, after being patched with 1.4, it doesnt work. how do you unpatch the game without uninstalling it???

uninstall/reinstall or simply reinstall the 1.4 patch using the full instead of the incremental.

You have no choice. You have to reinstall and patch to the lower version you want.

You probably renamed your bf2.exe and forgot to change it back when you patched.

I did that , and i uninstalled it. BF2 v 1.0 instaalled fine. after installing bf2 i restart and pop my SF disc in, it starts and says patching to 1.1 or something. so im like, cool. Then it gives me "Patching Failed", im like wtf? this never happeend before, now BF2 doesnt work at all, i uninstalled and tried again, same problem. So now i left BF2 uninstalled till i find a way to solve this.
