Is anyone else having seriouse lag issues on all these servers now? all my regulars that I got 20-30 ping on, I now get about 200. And in the server menu when I click on one, it dosent give up to date numbers.WTF!!!!! Is this happening to you?

yeah same thing here and my crash to desktop still happens...I wish they would stop spending time on 2142 and work on BF2 first seeing obviously more people want that

people arent seeing that the MAJORITY have no problems with this patch. sorry buddy but think about it, if most people are fine then its more than likely something wrong on your end (not your fault just wrong) how many factors are in this game up until you play it online, its got to run on your one off system, through your isp and then to the server. all dice has to do is make a game that will work for most people which it has done. its no their fault.

OMFG YES!!! Ever since I downloaded the 1.4 patch I'm getting freaking way more lag. I never had "there is a problem with your connection" every 30 seconds even at a ping of 125! I can't even find a decent server to get down to 30 or 40 anymore. Even at 90 it's so glitchy. I was flying on Operation Road Rage and everytime I'd line up and start a bombing run the FUCKED UP PATCH would have a connection problem and by the time it was over I was FUCKING SMOKING HOLE IN THE GROUND!!!!

I've never had this much problem before and don't go telling me it's on my end. It all worked fine with Patch 1.3 except the crash to server part.

This sure truns me off from wanting to buy another FUCKED UP product from EA/DICE!!

Screw BF2142!! Fix the FUCKING BF2 first!!!!!

No problems here. Everything runs great. Not one CTD or flicker of lag all day. Ping sticks around 20.

You have a point, at least up to some level. (maturity of replies)
On the use or making up new words I have to dissagree. These words are around for ages. I used to use them alot 10-15 years ago. But I have to admit that alot of people that use these acronyms nowadays have no clue what they really mean, nor how they originated. A great bunch of them are newbies that believe they are 'cool' by using these. new generation wannabees.

Back to the topic of the post: I have not experienced extra lag on the server with the patch.(yet)

I experienced lag and jerkiness for a minute on the first server I joined, but it cleared up quick and hasn't come back. 1.4 patch (incremental) has worked out ok for me. Although, my first connection after patching resulted in a CTD, and on my third different server last night a couple rounds in it suddenly kicks everyone for no reason. Plus, I keep getting the optimizing shaders message, even between rounds. Took two loops of the loading music to connect to my first server tonight. Other than that I still think it's been ok.
