Now that you have played it for 2 hours I guess you can rate EA's listening status and productivity status let's see how much of a rating they get this time.
They gave us public beta many of us participated so let's see if they actually listened to "us".

They are so so.

Call of Duty 2 is almost a year old and they've only released 3 major patches... none of which fixed the still F'ed up gameplay and balancing issues.  So EA/Dice isn't that bad, at least they try a little.

How do you know they're not trying their hardest?  Do you work at Dice?  It's a video game.  Jesus.  You people analyze it like it's freaking politics.  The game still plays well and if you can't find a good server that you like, well tough luck.

Its the numerous bugs that aren't fixed yet they have been posted on their beta feedback page, so how the hell do you classify them as hard working ? Hardly working is more like it.

Meh, they are so so.  Not because in my opinion 1.4 sucks, but because it has taken them over a year and several patches to "fix" the game in the first place.  Would I say they aren't working very hard?  No, I would bet they are doing the best they can...but that ain't sayin' too much either.  I have had a number of fairly high-end games on my rig...BF2 has been by far the biggest bitch to get running the way I believe it should be, specifically, on the highest settings with little to no lag, connectivity issues, glitches, exploits, etc.  DICE gets a B+ for the effort (compared to the XBox version of BF2, the PC version is a huge improvement), but I'd give them a C for the overall product.

I think 1.4 worked out really well. I know previous patches had some issues and I feel EA could have done better. Why they didn't, I guess we'll never know. But no point in hanging in the past, now is there?
As I was saying, 1.4 finally proved to us all that EA knew what they were doing. I feel some of us forget EA is a million dollar "corporation" and there professional's at what they do.

EA did a "so so" job with BF2. They changed a few things in BF2 that didnt need to be touched, while at the same time fixing alot of the problems that bothered us all.

Name one game that hasnt been updated/patched ???

RTCW the game is nearly 6 years old and still getting patched by ID so you think EA/DICE are bad its not just them EVERY pc game goes through it .

When i made the switch from CS:S to BF2, i was expecting VERY GOOD patches, because CS used Steam and i got updates about every week or 2.  So i was expect it to be BETTER, no it was just plain fucking retards running the patch updates and fixing the bugs.  1.4 patch should of just been called we added a new map and you can do IO on all the maps.  BYE thats all the support you get from us. Now on to bf2142 to fuck you over and make you more pissed off.  Due to this im buying quake wars instead.

And of course you would believe EA when they say bf2142 is coming out in october...LOL!  1.4 patch took another month to be released, when they said it was going to come out august 15th wasnt it?
