with a dodgy cd key, obviously, otherwise it would be working.
Phone EA and they'll send you a new one (so long as you pay them £30)

reinstal your game !!! that hapen to my cousin, you havr to re-install the game and be sure it is the same CD KEY as in the box !

there is basically formula for each game to work out the key, you can use any collection of alpha-numeric characters as a key, so long as they conform to that formula. That's how keygens work, someone has cracked the formula for that program and coded a bit of software to create a key at random that fits the formula. When a key is registered, the program will transmit over the internet the alphanumeric key sequence (if allowed to by the host computer - think "Register now for great benefits") to the software programmers server (e.g. EA).
EA will allow a set number of each key to be registered before blocking it.
On the back of your game manual is a key. More than one person will have that key. If EA distribute, say, 5 copies of that key, they might block that key if it is registered from, say, 20 different IPs?
And also if they discover a distributed key (e.g. on eBay) they will also block that
So a bug in that system is pretty unlikely
Try to check the name of your profile folder (under Documents and Settings\Profile_Name). In some case, if the name of you folder contains a special character (like é or à or ë or something else), it can cause this problem.
If this is the case, create a new account under Windows XP and use it to play with BF2.

It just happened to me a few weeks ago. I have a legit copy and out of the blue I couldnt connect to any servers. Closed game and reopened and got the "Your CD key is invalid". I just reinstalled and its all good.
You must be trying to play Euro Force. I paid $10 for nothing for that game. All the King's Horse and technical support could never get that game working for me and EA DIDN'T refund my money (of course). Fags.
Reinstall it happened to my clan mate yesterday he reinstalled and all was fine
I have heard they are banning CD-keys vs. deleting stats now. Were you caught cheating???????
