Some people including me are limited in choosing are resolution heres the solution:
Right click on the 2142 shortcut on your desktop, go to properites, and where it says target add this piece of text on the end :
+szx 1280 +szy 1024
or what ever resolution you want.

1280x1024 isn't 4:3 you know. Just stick to 1280x960.

since (most) tft's are 5:4 no they don't
