I picked the PKM, but my favorite as far as added power to the kit is the DAO-12. That thing is a beast. It is definitely my favorite unlock in the game, even though I only use anti-tank every once in a while.

I think the g36e is more accurate than the m16a2, and probably the most accurate in game. It's excellent for sniping too on single shot proned..only a little shy of the sniper rifles..well, ok, maybe half the distance shy. And then l96a is my baby...nothing like popping fools at 280meters from high on my crane.
PKM-it's the only unlock without which I wouldn't play the class it is designed for (support).
I use L85A1 a lot too but without a L85A1 I would not be a much worse medic, and without a PKM I would be a shitty support (like most of support players)...
