It is a TOALLY corrupt and biased organization.
Every single thing they've touched has turned bad...just read their history.
At one time, the UN was useful and needed, but due to selfish people corrupted by power, it should be stopped. Or at minimun, the U.S. should tell them to fuck off.

The UN should just be abolished, it seems that all it's ceasefires, resolutions, and economic sanctions

Here we are August 25, 2006. 25 days after the UN said that Iran had to answer to the resolution to cease their uranium enrichment program. They are stalling, the UN is letting it happen again, just like UN resolution 1441, 1559, etc., etc., etc... The funny thing is that the US is still the largest financial contributer to the UN and we (The US) still get no credit for helping our neighbors, all over the world.
For some feeble human reason, the "Big guy" will always have the the little guy trying to prove something, even though we are doing more good than bad, and we have the capability to do it....
