Who else thinks it would be cool to have a "PRO filter" like, if u die in a jet or tank with 0 kills, you cant enter it again? Or something like that, maybe with all vehicles, cuz, I cant stand people that TK for vehicles.
Or if u TK someone, i you cant enter a vehicle for 15 seconds, or 20 seconds. THAT would stop the whores.

And I'll add to the list if anyone can think of a better name or some more options.

1. 0 kills in a vehicle and more than 2 deaths, you cant enter a vehicle for the rest of the round.
2. If u TK someone, you cant enter a vehicle for 20 seconds or so.

Any one else?

In the long run that would make the servers run on a couple of people max. Sorry I just don't think it would work dude.

Nah, I didnt like the name either, I just couldnt think of anything else. This would be a server option, kinda like Infantry only.

We've already fought with the tk's...now FF is OFF on our Wake. Sure you'll still get Tk's, but its ALOT less. So I recommend for the flyboy maps to have FF OFF.

what happens if you die at the start of the round from a heli attack or arty of anything and you have 0 kills and 3 deaths you cant get in any vehcals then can you?

2= Good idea, but i think friendly m-95 rounds shouldn't be able to shoot through friendly aircraft glass anyway. Who's dumbass idea was that in the first place.....

single player on hard, umm, co op on 100%, even i get owned, .

Bad idea.  Reason 1:  Noob straps C4 to your vehicle and blows you up = no more vehicle for you the entire round.  Reason 2:  Enemy commander artilleries you = no more vehicle for you.  Etc etc....

1. Unfairly penalizes those with less skill and those just starting out with the game and will lead to empty servers quickly

2. What if someone stands infront of your vehicle to prevent you from moving? I'd be mighty pissed if some random asshole prevented me from using a vehicle with this feature on.

1. thats why i said PRO server FILTER so nubs dont have to play on it.
2. if ur in the vehicles.. it doesnt count... and its only 20 seconds or so, not rest of round.

What is needed is a vehicle queue. 

1) When a vehicle spawns it cannot be entered if a queue for it exists.
2) When you start a round (or enter a round) you apply to queue for a specific vehicle at a specific spawn point.  You can apply for as many queues as you want.
3) When a vehicle spawns it spawns with the top person in the queue for it.  That person is removed from all other queues.
4) If the person leaves the vehicle then anyone can enter it at that point (for ground vehicles, plane vehicles obviously crash and respawn).
5) Once you die in a vehicle (not once you leave the vehicle) you can re-enter any queues as defined in step 2)
6) If a person is out fighting when a vehicle spawns and they are at the top of the queue for that vehicle then they are presented with the option to suicide in order to spawn with the vehicle.

This would not apply to trivial vehicles such as jeeps.  This system allows for people to fight until a vehicle is available to them.  Due to the suicide (rule 6) it puts a premium on whether they chose to enter the spawned vehicle or not.  It reduces the amount of "waiting around" that people do for vehicles and highly discourages TKing for vehicles (if not eliminating it).  It DOES reduce realism in the game.

The only other way is to spawn enough various vehicles for every person in the game to get in one if they want (for example as soon as a tank leaves it's spawn point if there is a person with-in a certain radius, say 20 feet, of it's spawn point then another one spawns).

That's what I can think of to help the problem.

Wow, that's a pretty simple idea.

I think what should happen is...

1) You are given a spray can as an alternative secondary weapon.
2) You mosey on up to the vehicle you want, or the spot where it spawns.
3) You then have to have a tag battle either on the vehicle you want, or the ground, to see who has the most shizzle burning skills.  The result is judged by both team commanders.  If no commanders are available it is put to a server vote.
4) Once the winner is chosen, they then have to run around the vehicle three times shouting "Bloody Mary Gon' Git ya" - accuracy is needed as voice recognition will have to be used.
5) Once complete, the vehicle you want is available to you, but you have to run to the nearby building for the keys.
6) Once you find the keys, a small mini-game is triggered wherby you have to select the right key for the vehicle.
7) Incorrect selection of the key will free the vehicle up and return everyone to step 3.
8) You will then be kicked from the server.  You may rejoin and retry for your vehicle.

It think that's a pretty sound idea.  It'll stop the TK'ing anyway, after all, if nobody plays BF2, there'd be no TK'ing.

The queuing idea isn't TERRIBLE, but it just doesn't seem right.
I actually think on some maps air vehicles should be spawnable off the side of the map or something... (already in flight)
A queue for those would be a good idea... or make it a spawn  point that is only available when the air vehicle that would spawn there is respawned.
In other words,
Have spawn points on some larger maps where you spawn on a point and are already in a jet/heli in the air, entering the battle zone.
Those spawns would only be available when the vehicle that would originate there is "ready to enter combat"
Thought it would be nice since there would be NO TKing for those vehicles, NO Spawn raping them, etc.

Why not have certain kits?

You don't see snipers in real life who are tank drivers, ergo you have to spawn as a tank driver. This could be accessed like a squad or commander position but it will not require you to leave you squad but will require you to leave commander,  Ie no commanders in vehicles. There can only be as many drivers/pilots as there are vehicles so people who apply are selected at random not as a highest rank. And people who apply to be say a Tank driver cannot also apply to be a Helli pilot.

Just my idea, but i seriously doubt any of this will be implemented into any Battlefield game
